Come and meet the Draft Comprehensive Plan!
Join us in the Writers Theatre atrium on Tuesday, July 9 from 5-7pm to review and provide input on key recommendations. After many months of community engagement and plan development, we have drafted a document that describes a community vision for Glencoe’s future and we want to hear what you think! The project team and Village staff will be presenting the draft plan in an open house format; stop by anytime between 5 and 7pm to learn, ask, and share.
Visioning Phase Complete
The community visioning phases of this process generated substantial input and hundreds of thoughtful ideas from people in Glencoe.
Two online input tools, the comment map and ideas wall, together garnered over 5.1K visits, 240+ comments, and plenty of food for thought for the future. A sincere thank you to the hundreds of people who have participated to date, whether sharing via the online tools or attending one of our in-person events. Community input from all channels is helping to guide the development of the draft comprehensive plan.
